Great people great service ! Been to Chattanooga and Birmingham locations both great!

Chiflet and the Shocker are my go to's. And don't leave without getting a Fried Oreo. My fav place in Lakeview !!!

Awesome burgers and great selection of beers, love this place! Can't wait to go back and take more friends

The food was great! Get the Cobra Kai! It's phenomenal. The burgers are on the smaller side, but still good. The sweet potato fries are top tier, and you must get the fried Oreos. Service was great, and the decor is fun with all the bras hanging from the chandeliers. Definitely a must go.

Talk about a hole in the wall!! Boy was I surprised. I didn't think the place was the right one that I had goggled. It was kinda dark and deserted looking outside but when I peeked inside.... the place was alive. I specifically wanted an old fashioned hamburger. BTW they don't serve lettuce or tomatoes... " they're for rabbits ". However, this was one of the best hamburgers I've ever eaten . Nothing fancy. Just good ol brioche bun with the fixings. Friendly atmosphere and staff.

First off, I love Jack Brown's! It's one of my favorite burger spots in Birmingham. The menu has plenty of different and interesting combinations to try from. I got the Ponce burger tonight with Guacamole, Cheese, and bacon on it. It hit the spot after Mom's basement. The service is always great and the waiters take good care of us. The outdoor area is a perfect spot with all the different decorations and picnic tables. Definitely give it a shot if you are looking for a delicious burger!!

We arrived around 730 on a Friday night and they were busy. We put in our name and waited about 10 minutes for a table. They seated us in the back, so it was hot since it is outside. It is covered and they do have fans running, but it was definitely hot. I had the cobra Kai with sweet potato fries and it was delicious. The burger was cooked well and the little package it comes in makes it so easy to eat without making a mess. The fries were perfect, especially with the JB sauce. It was nice that they provided cold ice water when we sat down as well. The waitresses were very busy, but attentive. If you like burgers, this is your place. It's a small restaurant with limited tables inside and not many outside either.

A strong contender for the best burger in Birmingham is Jack Brown's, an eclectic dive bar in the Lakeview District. Their menu consists of really creative burgers, from the Elvis with peanut butter to the Cobra Kai with a sweet jalapeño jelly. But you also can't go wrong with just a plain hamburger for the purists out there. Their patty is solid. The bartenders are fun - they definitely match the vibe of this bar. Check this place out if you're looking for a fun burger or a funky casual place to grab a drink!

Jack Brown's is a fun hamburger joint in the middle of the Lakeview area of Birmingham. When we visited on a Sunday evening, there was about a 20-minute wait. They have a good collection of craft beer in bottle and cans, and we were able to wait outside with our beers. Jack Brown offers several different styles of gourmet burgers. My husband tried the Showalter, which was the Sunday special. It was like getting a hamburger breakfast. The hamburger was topped with Applewood Smoked Bacon, fried egg, American cheese, and instead of a bun, they used a Krispy Kreme donut. I tried a piece of the donut. It was really good, especially soaked in the meat juice. If you like hot and spicy things, you may prefer what my son ordered. He chose the Cobra Kai burger. It was topped with cream cheese, pickled jalapenos, and jalapeño jelly. All the burgers offered different things. One was topped with potato chips, another with peanut butter and mayo. Jack Brown's is a fun place, but the burgers can be pricey. They do offer sides, but they are extra.
